There are 165 homes within the association. The first 5 homes on the right side of Winston Ave, as you enter the neighborhood and before Chartwell Drive, are not part of the WPCA.
There are 72 acres of open space throughout Weldon Park.
The annual fees for WPCA homeowners are put in place to:
• Pay the required liability insurance which covers Weldon Park as a legal entity, its open spaces, and board members.
• Legal Fees.
• Maintenance of open spaces, signage, road repairs.
In 2018 we had our communications board built by our neighbor, Ian Rubenstein’s son for his Eagle Scout project. This sign is for all of us to use. Please email the board, and we can assist you in posting yard sale, school, and events within the board. We ask that you do not tape anything to the outside of the board as the tape residue will not come off.
In 2009 Chapter 90 was put into effect in Weldon Park. This means the Bourne Police Department has full, legal authority to ticket and fine all roadway violations.
The capital assessments are voted on by the homeowners at a meeting called for that specific purpose. There must be a quorum as defined in the 2006 Bi-laws, under Article III, Section 4. In the past, this has occurred during the Annual meetings.
In 2006 it was voted on and approved by the WPCA community to not require board members to pay the annual dues. The motivation behind this decision is to encourage individuals to become involved in the WPCA as new board members, in hopes to inspire creative, positive change and keep our community maintained and safe for all homeowners.
